The good - renting a van to go pickup a Tales of Arabian Nights finally.
The crap - getting up at 5am to go get it.
The good - getting a rental van upgrade.
The crap - realising this was dangerous as I'm pretty excitable with space and available machines.
The good - Picked up the machine in fab condition. Met a nice guy selling it.
The even better - Deciding to buy a very nice Guns & Roses he was moving too.
The crap - A 2 minute job of taking money out of my own bank, who i've banked with for 25+years and in v.good standing, credit references and all that took 30mins - for some reason.
The even crapper - getting back to the van to find I'd got a parking ticket for £60
The good - getting the van back to home after a 500mile trip in time and new tables released to mingle with mine.
The crap - seeing a SS which had been delivered by Home Leisure, who said it was in excellent shape, would have new glass as standard and be cleaned etc, have a sheet of glass like it had been skated on (both sides) and internals like it had been caked with mud.
The good - considering sending it straight back, getting a refund and never dealing with a company who plainly lie.
The even better - seeing all the machines unpacked and looking forward to popping CDMD's and Pinsounds and nice speakers in them.
The cats tits - securing a WH20 as well! Finding out my MMR colour chip is coming tomorrow.
Oh and a nice glass or two of wine too.
