You can re-charge those display glasses which sometimes fixes a dead one, have you tried that?
you can use the
coin door lock out coil for the
24 volt feed for the large score displays as follows, credit display see at end ….
As described in the repair guide..
1. Turn game off. Remove display from game.
2. put an alligator test lead on
the two lugs of the coin door lockout
relay coil.
3. connect the other ends of the alligator
clips to the OUTSIDE leads of the
blue display glass (system1/system80,80a
only.)
4. Turn game on. Count to 5 (one onethousand,
two onethousand, etc. etc.)
5. Turn game off immediately.
6. Install display back in game and power on.
If results are not as dramatic as you would
like, the procedure can be repeated once
more.
DO NOT do this for the small credit display!
It will INSTANTLY fry if you connect it to
24 volts.
That one should be done with a 9 volt battery
for sure.
