Bought this 3 years ago from @JMP who restored the playfield and a few more bits fitted like new ramp, new translite, new speaker panel (probably more). I added the topper which is normally missing and was. Changed the air raid siren for the better version which sounds great
(thanks @myPinballs - 2 versions were used), bought and fitted a new mpu and 5v board from myPinballs for total reliability. Converted it to a led tube in the backbox.
Everything works well, plays great. Loop de loop shot working great, often don’t work well and just rolls back down. Ruins the game in my opinion.
Was used at a league meet here recently with no issues except maybe me coming first on it
(rare ish game).
Earth mods have been done.
Sound and music are great, multiball will confuse you if one ball is in the left and other right
. Also has a funky ball save where I’m guessing Foo Fighters got the idea as Jack Danger has/had a Gold Wings I believe. I really like this game but 3 years is long enough.
Only negatives are some old damp damage to back of cab and right lower middle (small patch), you don’t see this in a line up but needs to be mentioned. It was like this when I bought it.
Cab is still solid and looks good in the flesh, has been kept in my climate controlled room until recently. Also ends of lockdown bar has some wear but could be repainted easily enough.
Very reliable game.
Prefer collection as can be tested etc but Hadfields do come here so can pack up nicely for you. Martin does not come here.
