Hello,
I’ve had a recurring issue with my Gottlieb Royal Guard (1968) whereby the set screws on the left flipper quickly loosen themselves, so the flipper “drops” from its intended position and eventually becomes useless. This is happening quicker and quicker as time goes on.
Upon disassembly it seems the flipper shaft is gouged, the set screws also seem quite worn but I think the shaft is the bigger issue.
Does anybody happen to have a spare shaft / shoe assembly lying around for purchase before I resort to Marco / PBR? It’s the 2” flipper with horizontal text so I think the part reference might be A-6888.
Many thanks,
Simon
