thanks for all advice on led zep,ive gone off that idea now, however i just played godzilla premium at tilt but out of price range, whats the pro model like.

not a very good start then,
The Pro is brilliant - you get 99% of the excellent gameplay. The Premium has a moving building and bridge, which is great for kids and gives a serious ‘wow’ factor.

I bought Godzilla based on playing a Pro, which I thought was probably one of the best pins of all time. I subsequently bought a Premium, which is undoubtedly one of the best pins of all time.

Im always a Prem or LE guy.. I do agree that.l, the pro, whilst missing the building, bridge & MGZ shield, does play really well and I enjoyed it at Pinball Republic.

looks like its getting better, would you wait for tom, time z,or ad fam or buy a nib ie pinball heaven for the same price.

I got a pro after playing the le and pro at Tilt and Electric Circus. I had a bit of indecision before it arrived as to whether I should switch to the premium but I've got no regrets after playing my pro. It's got almost the same gameplay and frees up more cash for my next purchase. I think it depends on how many machines you have (if I only had 1 machine I'd probably go for a premium), how much money you have (if I had endless money I'd get a premium) and how patient you're willing to be (one model may be available before the other).

There are some machines that the pro is significantly worse than the premium but Godzilla isn't one of them imo.

completely different games, my personal preference would be Godzilla over any of those but you may have a different opinion

Have a word with Phil at Pinball Heaven, I personally feel you’d be better off getting a GZ pro over an old 90’s game. With the 2 year warranty and deeper code it’s a no brainer. GZ is the modern equivalent of a MM or AFM. It will be in high demand for many years to come.
I ’d beg to differ on whether 90s Bally/Williams pins are better than modern Sterns, in general.

However, Godzilla is one of the few modern pins on par with MM/AFM.

No doubt that the Premium is preferable to the Pro with the bridge, building and ramp, but are those 3 things worth an extra £2500?

I would struggle to justify it

GZ is the GOAT and for me Prem/LE all the way. but that said price difference would buy you a 90s Ball/will classic and any 2 pins better than one IMO

I feel that I need to revisit GZ. Played it at electric circus but didn’t gel with it.
Maybe need to give it some more game time as I haven’t heard a bad word about it.
It’s okay not to gel with popular pins. I’ve never gelled with The Addam’s Family and think TZ is overrated. JJP Guns & Roses, which I played today, I would pay someone to take away!! It doesn’t mean I’m right - not everyone likes everything, and that’s okay :)

All that said, people (myself included) tend to like GZ, on average, and, thus, it’s a pretty safe bet that @vr46 will probably like it too. And, if not, it won’t be difficult to sell or trade to a new owner :)
