Hi, new here so not sure if this has already been asked.
Where can I buy a replacement coil stop and flipper replacement assembly for Stern Godzilla?
I have seen many posts saying replace these parts and can already see my flippers losing power after only a few plays.
I don't want to buy a replacement that is made by Stern and of the same low quality, where do I look for quality flipper assembly and coil stops?
Thanks in advance.

Coil stops from pinparts.co.uk or pinballlife.com

Weak flippers can be fixed by installing cooling fans - get them from pinmonk or diy.

No point replacing the whole assembly.

Thank you, I will reach out to them today.

Loosing power after a few days ?

Coil stops wont be worn after this amount of time.

How long are you playing this for in a session?

You can alter flipper power in the software as well. If you have updated code then some settings may of changed.

You should not have to change these parts in a few days.

Wasn't someone on here working on a pinmonk alternative? I have his cooling kits on my R&M and STh and they work great so I'm tempted to get them for GZ, but if there's a UK / forum alternative in the works I don't mind waiting to support a home grown solution.

Yes they are. We got it wired and fitted last night and it's a perfect fit. I am sure the creator will pop I and put up some details soon.

Not sure why people rave about the fans Vic is using, they are still noisy as hell and the ones I got had some serious balance / vibration issues.

Changed them for Noctuas which imho were far better.

Yes they're noisy and the mod isn't cheap either. But afaik it's the only plug'n'play solution currently available... (fans+mount+wiring)

Or half plug in, the other half throw away and replace with Noctuas🙂

The bracket mounts are good, also the wiring harness

I'll be able to post details on Friday, hopefully, as to how you can buy the sets I have created (along with a LOT of help from @Sven Normansson , @Telboy & @mufcmufc in the design, build and testing).

They are plug and play, with clear instructions as how to fit.
They will be £50, as opposed to the $130 plus P&P and duty for the Pinmonk ones.
They cannot be heard when the playfield and glass are on (they can barely be heard when out of the machine).

Out of interest, are these fans machine specific or will they fit all ages of machine?

The 3 fan tibetan breeze sets for GZ worked out for me at £245 a set - and I ordered 3 sets (3 X $210 + $60 shipping + £111.25 import duty) . So anything considerably cheaper is well worth looking at.

I fitted to my GZ in less than 10 minutes.

They will fit on all machines.

However, currently I only have power cables to fit to Spike 2 (LCD) Sterns. There is an easy alternative to power these from an external 5v plug.
