Opposite to 'wish you hadn't sold' thread!

There are a fair few I regret not buying, but number one would be a MM.

I drove to Scotland to pick up a very nice AFM ( GOAT - and actually managed to not sell it by chasing the next dopamine spike! )

While there I played a gorgeous, original MM, with a clear coated Henrik Mauer playfield.

It played like a dream.

At the time I thought £7500 was a bit too much, and I do still prefer AFM.

That was 2017 ish?

If I had bought that MM, it would still be with me.

There aren't really any Sterns I regret not buying, it's the B/W classics that were so much cheaper and easier to find than they are now.

When I bought my HUO Champ Pub, the guys collection included multiple HUO games including a Cactus canyon. Wish I had bought that!

Wish I had bought ALL the classic Stern games back when they were selling for next to nothing, before people suddenly thought they were cool

Star Trek LE. A friend of mine wanted to let his go and it was cheap too. Got offered it but as is quite often the way the timing wasn't great as I had just brought a Ghostbusters Pro. Ghostbusters pro has since gone and a Ghostbusters Premium has arrived, still no star trek LE

The Star Trek LE at the Pinball Office is for sale

A fireball back in the early 80's

At the time the dealer had on the floor, various Solid State Bally's, about $600, Black Knight $1000, but Fireball was $1600

I'm sure I played that mm about the same time maybe earlier it was stunning was the fella called John he had some collection of pinball machines.

This must be 15+ years ago, but there was a Big Bang Bar on eBay with some cab damage or similar which meant it was listed for around £5-6k or something.

Wish I’d bought that one.

I'm a newbie but the only machine I wish I had bought was a CGC AFM LE, seen it a year or so back the second it was listed for sale on here.

Years ago (maybe 2012) there was a collection from an op called something like “Clint’s pinball division” up on eBay.

10 or so machines but I think he wanted 12k or “best offer”.

Seemed like an insane amount of cash. Also I reasonably assumed no one would have more than 3 pins in their house….

Around 2009 (ish) there was an advert in Germany for 120+ machines around £35k i wish i'd sorted out the logistics for those and bought them.
