Whenever I see photos of big home gamerooms a lot of the yanks have, they always have a few things in there that aren't pinball machines. Over here I don't tend to see that much. Why not?

If so, apart from a standard Mame cabinet, what games do you think go nicely with your pinball collection?

I've always wanted one of those Ice Cold Beers, or a Goofy Hoops.

Never seen them for sale over here. Did these ever come to the UK?

What other games are on your wants list? Discuss.

ICB is top of my wants list. Or a Zekes Peak (retheme)
There are a handful here but everyone wants one.

I got offered an Ice Cold Beer a couple of years ago for £250 but never really knew what it was! I passed details to another collector who snapped it up

its a cool game alright but.....
like loads of stuff its not good to own.
Its supposed to be super easy once you get the hang of it and apparently it doesnt take long.

Theres a thread on pinside of a guy(or group) coming up with their own version with expanded rules etc etc

ICB are desired here as they only came in by the back door in very small numbers

Brian in Nottingham is selling one of these if you have space!

Again common in US , hens teeth here

A few of us oohing and ahhing on FB but they are huge!

Yeah I did seriously consider buying that. But after watching a few YouTube videos it doesn't look like it would have any long term appeal whatsoever.

I remember a game where balls fell down, you had to collect them in the farmers basket. If you got enough you won an egg prize.

Was that from Rav?

My Taito ICB is actually a payout model modified under license by "Taitel". It has slight modifications to the main PCB (fly wires from certain components) and a coin dispenser with associated circuitry. Getting to the tenth hole gives you a nice old school clunk-de-ckunk-de-ckunk fiver quid. Quite cool...

It also has a modified ROM to make it much harder. The bar jolts around much more erratically when idle.

I'll stream it once I've fixed the lamp drivers - unfortunately they seem to have all died, so it's rather dark...

Tim

I've got a few drivers.....

Sega Rally 2 twin
Sega Le Mans 24 twin
Twin x box one bespoke driving rigs :)

FB_IMG_1480632962498.jpg Started off with a pool table, then got a pool themed pin, then got rid of the pool table for another pin. Pool tables sound great but in reality not much fun unless you have mates round every night.

pool tables take up a lot of valuable pin space. most houses I've seen then in have them relagated to a storage table
