Refurbished Fish Tales - Brand new fitted playfields / ColourDMD
Unfortunately the house move is taking another victim, but it will be worth it in the end (my wife’s words, not mine). I didn’t think I would ever let this go, but of course things change. I bought this from Scott Rundle back in 2023 and he did most of the work. I have added the ColourDMD and Comet LEDs throughout. It has had light use at best.
Good Points:
- Brand New fitted Micro playfields (no pooling, chipping or sunken inserts). It is lovely and smooth. New oak rails too.
- Redecalled Cabinet
- ColourDMD (LCD)
- Comet LEDs
- Titian rubbers
- Flyland licensed side blades
- Redecalled Cabinet
- New legs
- Leg protectors and new leg hinges
- New Star posts
- Gun metal fishing rod handle
- New plastics where needed (including the last NOS fishing rod plastic on the left side)
- Completely rebuilt flippers, including coils
- New shooter coil
- Fully working, no credit dot
- Blue powder coated rails and lockdown bar
- Rocket CPU board, so no batteries or 5v reset issues.
- Thousands spent on this
Included:
- Manual (when I can find it, my wife has packed it, but it is included, but it might be a couple of months time!)
- Full coil replacement set (for those coils not already replaced)
Negatives (see pictures)
- Some marks on the rails by the hinges
- A bit of powdercoat chipped by the lockdown bar
- No coin box
- Slight wrinkle on the front of the decal, above a bolt.
As always, viewing is advised and encouraged. Sold as seen, but videos of it working provided if you cannot view.
