After my previous thread and from the advice I have received from the forum (thanks)

I have decided to put my project Williams flintstones out for long term loan.

I bought this as a project a couple of months ago, started got half way through and full blown renovations have started in the house, so won’t get around to complete it until then, I don’t want to store it in the garage as it will get damp.

The complete top of the playfield has been stripped, it’s all in boxes.
All the removed screws now have surface rust on them.
I started to clean everything but it will need to be redone.
It needs full new bulbs, a pop bumper metal bracket. Full rubber set, and the 5v wasn’t working.

If anyone likes to tinker and rebuild these, I would propose a long term loan of 6 months to rebuild the machine to a good playable condition (don’t worry about the cabinet)

I will also cover any repair costs up to £300, if any other bills over that they
are to be covered by whoever loans the machine.

I am based in Oswestry, Shropshire.
The loaner would need to cover the cost of transport to them, I’ll cover it back to me.

I have the manuals, and lots of photos from the strip down.

Wow, what a deal, where do I sign up….
It’s what’s been suggest by multiple members to do this… it wasn’t my initial idea and thought it was odd too… but hey ho! Anyway You’ve declared your interest, I have your address, it’ll be on your doorstep next week 👍🏻

Great, my wood burner is ready.

In all seriousness, I just don’t see what the loanee is getting out of this? By the sounds of it, this is a load of hours labour and then you get to play The Flintstones for a few months.

I see what’s in it for you mate and if you get a taker, hats off to you!
