Grazie

Good morning and welcome, I apologise in advance if I express myself with my mother tongue.

I have a Chicago Coins "Beatniks" from 1967 with a weak, unresponsive flipper.

I wanted to ask if it could be a lubrication or component/mechanical problem, or even electronics. Thank you

You need to inspect the weak flipper and see what is happening - is the plunger moving smoothly or is it getting stuck? Does the end of the plunger or the coil stop look like a “mushroom”? Is everything still aligned or is anything skewed and causing resistance? Is the coil sleeve damaged? If you take some photos and videos from below the playfield of the flipper mechanism working then that might help.

The fact that the flipper is working at all suggests that it is more likely to be mechanical than electrical.

If you need to replace any parts then this page on the Pinball Resource site suggests some part numbers which might fit this era of Chicago Coin machine, which you could try to source from a retailer in Italy: https://www.pbresource.com/KT-CCMEarly.html

Thank you, very kind, I will apply myself on the occasion of the holidays. The pinball machine moves slower than the other but is still free
