Looking for some opinions guys... At the moment I have incandescent flashers in my spidey.

I’m thinking of colour matching the flashers that are under the playfield the #89 bayonets (yellow for sandman, green for gobby etc)

Unfortunately coloured incandescent aren’t available at pinball life anymore.

Anyone ever tried this and what we’re the results? I’ve heard they can be a bit too bright but just thought I’d gather some thoughts.

Cheers Alan

I've put Yellow flashers in Sandman years ago - 2 underneath and 1 in the flasher dome topside i think. I wouldn't bother and just use warm white flashers instead! In fact i think i changed them a year or 2 ago. Yellow would be a second choice to keep the brightness down.

Green in goblin looks good - these are ideal: https://www.cometpinball.com/products/8smd-tower-flashers (James might sell them in them UK). I also used those for Venom (blue or purple). Red for Doc Ock too, though you lose a bit of that pulsating effect.

The coloured LED flashers can be a bit bright, especially white, but none of these flashers are in your face like the 2 by the flippers on LOTR (for example) so i think you're good.

You can colour your own incandescent bulbs with glass paint. I have done this many times with flashers.

With our spiderman, we used white led flashers combined with a set of colour coded @Colywobbles protectors. (To fit under the existing plastics, and or in place of that awful sandman plastic.)Yellow for sandman plastic, green for goblin , red for spider sense , blue for under venom on left side under wire ramp etc..... The overall effects are stunning! Ask anyone who’s played it........
Keef.

Comet coloured LED’s came today and they look superb. I’ve colour coded for the villains and it really makes a difference. Thanks again for the responses guys.
