Sold Flash Gordon (New Forest) 4.5k

Here is my lovely Flash Gordon refurbed by the one and only @new forest pinball.

* Beautiful cabinet, perfect, new stencils.
* Perfect shiny coin door - EDIT - although looking at the photos some mug has left a drink on it when tombstoned, and that has marked the metal. I'll have a look at buffing this out.
* Near perfect backglass (some small flaking around the moon and the lock down bar - see pics)
* Near perfect original playfield, best I've seen on a flash. which are usually hammerd. I do have a full CPR FG playfield set for those wanting to go all out, hit me up if you would like that also.
* Geeteoh sound board mod, with additional sound effects and music (https://geeteoh.com/soundsplus.shtml)
* Perfect standup targets, again, these are usually trashed
* Perfect replacement plastics (CPR prob)
* Apron and shooter cover immaculate

About as good as it gets really, besides having the playfield redone. Some would argue it's better to keep it original anyway, especially when this one is as good as it is.

Bought for 5 but I need space so 4.5k takes it.

looks like the one i carried down 3 flights of stairs in pieces single handed in 2017 after buying for 650, then reassembled and fixed up and sold on to Dave Dodds for 1000. I heard that Dave then flipped it soon after for a profit (@DRD naughty, you shoulda split the profit with me ...... but all water under the bridge now so it's cool) .... was it to new forest, then on to you, Stumblor, i wonder? always interesting to hear a machine's history.

Good to see you back!
Must of blinked and missed that event......... And not been served a ban yet?...... crumbs(?).....
This Flash Gordon formed part of an Exeter university haul from the late eighties. (Flash Gordon, Paragon and a Black Knight)
We refurbished all three.
This Machine was in our own collection for many years. Was fully refurbished in 2017. And sold to a good customer of mine who sold a pub and spent all the lot on classic Bally machines and a property to house them all. He decided to downsize and sold it back to us. Played great from what I recall. It benefits from superbands, new planetary pinball posts in the correct red and a ton of other stuff including a new flash lamp.
We then sold it on to “Uncle Col.” who passed it on pretty quickly to Davey. @stumblor Oh and thanks for the kind words Davey, much appreciated.....
The Paragon is currently on the Isle of Wight, The Black Knight resides in the proud collection of Luke. @GezTheHealer

Thanks for that hsitory Keith - It does play great! A lot better than the one in the pinfest comp which consistently kicked my a55!
