Recently acquired in a machine purchase, the display has four faint vertical lines and a few dots out.
Was going to keep as a spare but I don't think I will ever use it as it is so might as well sell it.
It is the type with 8x8 soldered in red led blocks.
Not sure on price so will try £90 shipped or best offer.

Not the cable because I've put a different display in and that's been fine.

Faulty leds in the blocks I guess?

Are these easily fixable? I have a spare Stern DMD lying around with the the dreaded line and a few dots out as well

Unusual to get lots of faults spread out like that. Could there be a common issue causing that? Ribbon cable?

The common issue is stern quality control!

These can be fixed but it is not a beginners soldering job ... but the tricky part is getting an exact match for the segments, any variance in wavelength or intensity and it looks rubbish!

Would you be able to fix it? If I can get it repaired I'd be happy to keep it.
