I’ve swapped my std stern wifi dongles 150Mbps for these 300Mbps.

got one spare £20 + postage, say £3.50

I also put one in my IMDN and used my GZ qr reader to get imdn connected up to IC, and now i can play ic enabled games. cheap way of getting ic

I’d keep it. This is what stern give out in the insider upgrade pack - they are crap - I’ve burnt through loads of them.

I now use these:

WiFi Dongle for MAG 250 254 255 260 270 275 RT5370 Chipset Wifi Dongle For Many Set Top Boxes https://amzn.eu/d/frpHTWL

they are 150Mb/sec but the Stern‘s CDN rarely is able to fill that.

I’ve had no issues with these, cheap and super small and tidy looking.

Hi, does anyone have any latest recommendations for the WiFi dongle/antenna?

My machine is in a place with a very weak signal (beyond my control), so any suggestions for a great antenna, ideally kinda Jodrell Bank, would be much appreciated.

I did buy a TP-Link AC600, but the machine wouldn't recognise it. Is there a protocol that Stern uses which can be checked against USB wireless antennae on the market?

Thanks 👍
