I haven't got any App recommendations, but what I find helpful is finding anything to take your mind off the fact you are exercising. Reading, watching TV, listening to music etc. Sometimes if I'm concentrating on reading the time flies by without me realising I've been exercising.

If i don't find a suitable app, the plan is to watch an episode of something to act as a timer, I don't stop cycling until the episode finishes.

I remember playing DM, at he same time that ST first came out at the Belgian Open. It was set up with an exercise stepper - you had to keep stepping to keep power to the flippers. I got a replay, and was then absolutely f£*ked when I had played that. My legs had turned to jelly by the time I'd finished, but I had earned that replay so was going to play it 😀
