Euro to UK pin shipping ???

I used Shiply to get quotes for bringing a game in from Spain and was quite happy with the price I paid but then recently I looked at getting a game from Italy and couldn't get a decent price through them so it can be a bit hit and miss depending on location and what firms are available.

Unless you want to pull another 24 hr epic and go get it for me Chris :D Pint in it for you

Costs me 250 Euro a pin or 450 for two from Croatia, but the seller organises. Got a man in van contact for France, Germany (nearest UK European countries) that usually does it for 150-180 Euros, door to door. You got to wait ages on Shiply etc. to get anything worth looking at.

my monster bash came palleted and DHL Freight (not the regular DHL) did a top notch job getting it from Germany to here with no damage, think it was 200EUR.

They were both in average condition but I got the pair for about £4200 so can't complain!

Any advice on paying? A long distance seller? Some will only take bank transfer and as far as I'm aware there's no come back from that? (Feels like just giving your money away without coming home with a pin!) I know there's fees with PayPal but I've heard of good outcomes if it all goes wrong when paid via PayPal with a credit card not had any experience personally.
Any recommendations
Ta Tony

I paid via bank transfer and you are basically sending money off with no come back if it all goes wrong. As a seller I'd never accept Paypal as it's too easy to get screwed the other way so I'll be amazed if there's anyone who offers Paypal as a payment option and then would be happy to ship a pin internationally.

You have to go with gut feeling to an extent. If seller and the deal feel OK, then it probably is :-)

You can always ask if they are on any pinball forums, or known in the community for reassurance. Had that happen to me when a guy from Euroland was transferring me money for a pin.
