Multiballs

I bought this machine via ebay.

The cabinet needs re-stenciling (Good job I have another World Fair) Bonus.

My ultrasonic cleaner has been on for the last few hours.. God it makes some noise! But I highly recommend one. :-)

Also a few cans of foaming cleaner (available from Phil @ PH)

Let's compare.. Let's compare.

More photos will be added as the project progresses.

Laters.

Looking good. I semi-restored mine a few years ago, need to get around to doing it properly. Great game.

Any tips?

Get one of the flipper re-build kits from PB Resource, really makes a difference.

I've done a few EM's, so if you get stuck let me know, I'll try & help.

Thank you.

I find that PB have a strange ordering process, but anyway.

The play field is starting to look good (photos to follow).

I decided to leave the pop bumpers attached, as I'm in fear of snapping something.

This machine was made in 1964.

LED's will be added to the slings. Then it's re-assemble & re-stencil cabinet.

I just hope it turns on & plays..

The cabinet & actually getting the machine working could well be headache time..

Back to the topic in hand..

More photos.

I'll be finishing off the play field today.

P.s a soft toothbrush & foaming spray cleaner helped me out big time.

Don't let the foam produce too much moister.

**Topic split**

Come on ladies, handbags at dawn :sush: :suspect:

I can see both sides - usually though rather than taking over someone's request a new thread is created. However Mooseman is talking generally about EM repair, rather than World fair specifically.

Here's a suggestion to make everyone happy
smile-1.png
- Mooseman - I'll open a new thread which is specific to EM work and repairs, this way you will be more likely to get your specific issues/problems sorted. I'll move the specific posts over

This way Multiballs gets to keep his thread on track, and then you get the answers and can offer help to others on EM refurbs...

Thanking you..

A simple man to man request, turns into name calling. Some people..

The End.

Back to topic.

The play field is almost complete.

.. I'm desperate for space.

I had the play field on my knee at one point. Until the t'other half was moaning about the smell of polish/wax.

Wax on, wax off.

Looking good. A good trick for flatteneng the plastics is to put them on a book, & heat them with a hairdryer on high heat. When they've gone soft, put another heavy book on top & leave 'till they've cooled down.

I was going to do that.. but due to the age I didn't want to mess up a plastic that i will never find again..

I full pull the minter apart. lol - Not happening.

I hope you were wearing ear defenders with your ultrasonic cleanser.

It was placed in another room.. Then again over-time I just got used to it.
