I have a home use only Elvis Gold 500 game limited edition with 543 games on it. It has UK skill posts and there were only 10 made with these so it is rare. I am thinking of selling it so what is a fair price?

What’s the difference between this And the standard? Just the gold armour? Couldn’t find anything on the Stern website.

Elvis goes for good money. They don't come up often so it's hard to gauge, from memory around 5k a year ago. I would be adding a grand maybe for the gold le version, but for that kind of money you're pushing into some strong titles. Elvis is one people search for so there might be interest here, or if not, ebay would find you the Elvis fans. Good luck! Elvis is a fun game and the swinging hips mech is epic.

Edit - just saw your note re skill posts. That's going to knock it down on here. Less so on eBay.

Nothing except the ramps, side rails and lockdown bar are brass plated and it came with a certificate, the game play is identical, it's not like a stern limited edition now where there is an additional toy or mechanism

It's actually machine I want, but I can't have more than one, I quite like the UK skill posts but on here they are hated, stumbler is correct I believe the one sold on here was 5k, but not a limited edition. However I believe people think it's overpriced due to the Elvis premium, which is similar to the Beatles. When I was first looking for a machine this and the lotr was the one I was after and at the time that was the feedback I got 🙂.

Bites lip . Remembers the infamous elvis skill post yahoo group battle.

Simple answer is skill posts will devalue ANY machine especially now resale value seems to be the main criteria in game buying. Skill post is almost a bad a curse as the word Gottlieb

selling this for more than 5K would make you the devil in disguise. So don’t don’t or you’ll be doing the jail house rock.
