Just had a look on eBay at recent auctions using the filters. Results were pretty thin:

Auctions only
UK
Sold items

Data is from around July 31 onwards...

DE Star Wars 3.9k
DE Star Wars 3.6k
South Park 3.5k
Indy 500 2.7k
Demo Man 2.7k
Teed Off 2.5k
DE Simpsons 2.1k
Hook 1.8k
Mr and Mrs Pac Man 1.6k
Cueball Wizard 1.5k
Haunted House 1.2k
4 Million Years BC 1.0k
Jungle Lord 0.9k

I know of two recent auctions that were ended because a deal had been done behind the scenes . . . I think that happens quite a lot.

I specified "Sold", not just "Completed"

Nothing over 4k which shows you how sellers don't seem to trust genuine auctions

the eBay fee system and buyer is always right philosophy encourages using it as a shop window to list games BUY IT NOW at often ludicrous prices. Encourages outside deals. Most sit there for eternity but occasionally a seller gets lucky. Problem is newbies/one off sellers see these daft prices and think its the going price.

If someone , often when there is a fee promo , "risks" listing a desirable game at £1 start it often doesnt stay the course.
