You dont have to sign up with Paypal (rather - you never used to have to).... if you have a CC you should still be able to donate....

@Paul is there a donate option that doesn't involve PayPal? Used to have an account but never used it so it was deleted. Don't want to set one up again - there used to be an option to use cc but that seems to have gone

Honest answer - not that i'm aware of.

I have been looking for a while to change the system on here due to issues i intermittantly get using the add-on i have. I am assured by the developer that if i remove it, subscriptions in place still remain, however i cant see how this would work, since surely if i remove the add-on then the mechanism to check to see if you are still a subscriber will also disappear.
I will ask them again and get clarification, howevver whilst not a massive piece of work, it has the great potential to go south fairly quickly. I'll see what i can get done over the festive period (Too busy with clocks at the moment!).

However, this may not make any difference to what you are asking - let me see if this makes a difference first - then if it doesnt i can look at another option.... (Not sure what yet... but i'm sure someone has come up with the same issue and has found a solution!)....
