DMD valuation

Hi all,
Can't see a 'What's it worth' thread, so sorry if there is one and I've missed it :sorry: in advance if I have!

I've just tested 2 DMD displays on my Getaway pin for a friend (he's the one who sold the Fish Tales topper on ebay recently.)

How much they worth?
Both have no lines out and look bright. I've forgotten the makes of them but pics of them in test on my pin...

1st...
Has an old image you can sort of see when its off close up...



2nd...
NOS...




If possible I'll sell them for him to get them into collectors hands, as he's a trader though it all depends on price, (he is fair on price btw!)

I seem to remember Jamie on the Yahoo group was selling fully working 2nd hand DMD's for around £75 I think (hopefully someone else can confirm this) so that should give you an idea on price.

You sure those pics are the right way round? To me it looks like the 2nd one has an image retention, where the top one looks new.....

Or maybe it's these wonderful drugs i'm on again...

Phew - thank goodness it wasn't just me

Bloody Doc's told me to lay off the cigs as much as possible too until i can at least rid me of this infection - so i'm a grouchy git too at the mo (more than usual!).

Personally, just breathing properly again at the moment would be a blessing... Specially as I need to be better for Sunday as I'm supposed to be playing real life games in Thorpe park....

Yeah was my bad sorry they were the wrong way round! Anyways just to update. He sold them as a job lot with a load of other boards to someone we all probably know. He may have other stuff I'll see what I can dig out next time I'm at his workshop. I only could comment on those as I'd tested them. He does turn up with some interesting arcade and pin stuff quite often. I'll try to act quicker next time :doh: Then again at least they're going to a pin owner not an ebay flipper. (get it ) He does post quite often on jamma+ btw and is only 20 mins away from my house so know him quite well.
