I have a DM that’s in great condition and as I couldn’t bring myself to sell it it’s at a mates . I went there for the first time for a while today and played it and I love that game .
If there’s any newbs lurking looking for a low cost first game DM is a great choice
My question is about the handles . It’s an idea that seems wrong but when you play it seems right. Right ?
So why was it never repeated?
Or was it ?

There was an earlier example of such controls (not counting Hyperball). A small, and as far as I know short-lived, manufacturer, Mr. Game, produced a machine with trigger handles instead of buttons. AIR it was named 'Dakar' and also featured a screen rather than segment displays.

Mr Game also made Mac Attack and Motor Show in the same cab I think  Pretty sure the Budapest pinball museum has a Motor Show that I played and Jamie B has some Mr Game stuff as well :)

Put me down as another cheerleader for DM, one of my favourite machines over 20yrs old.

DM was my first love in this hobby and the hardest one to part with when the time came. The film is fun and the game and callouts really do a great job of putting you in the middle of the action, especially if you have the profanity roms! When the thumping and fuzzy screen start when you reach Demo Time the wizard mode I'd get goosebumps, even 10 years after I got the game. (Probably because I'm sh1te so didn't get it too often mind! ) The handles make you feel like your riding the Harley of the pinball world too!

Loving all the DM love . I actually prefer playing with claw disabled for the flow . So how good is that? With the main toy disabled it’s still great
