A long shot I know, but I could really really do with a new set of the brackets which secure the DE PSU into the bottom of the cab.

Does anyone know if it's possible to actually get hold of these still or does anyone have a spare set lying around from a machine they've parted out maybe?

Ideally I need the four brackets plus the long bolts which secure them to the PSU.

Thanks in advance.

I have a set from another DE machine, The part number for the transformer is 010-5003-00 rather than 010-5002-00 for Rocky

They seem to be very similar, not sure what state mine are in but will hoke them out and check, have you any dimensions from yours ?

I could always hoke Rocky out of storage to check it but that will take a while, can do it if you dont have yours. Even a picture with a ruler beside the brackets would probably do, along with the depth of the psu between the brackets

Thanks Ian.

Much appreciated - i'll have a dig around at home tonight and see if I can find the required parts to put a photo together and get the dimensions.

I had a dig through my box of bits and it's not quite as bad as I first thought. Right now i'm missing one of the brackets and one of the long bolts with nut and rubber bushing, but all of my bolts are in pretty mangled condition so it would be nice to find replacements if possible.

Here's some pictures - Frozen ruler to show approximate sizes - thanks to my daughter for the loan. ;-)

Not very clear but approx 8cm from the front to the rear of the trransformer.

About 13cm wide.

And these are the bolts with rubber bushings and nuts.

And finally the brackets themselves.

The plan is to clean these up and give the transformer a bit of a spruce up too before it goes back into the cabinet. That'll be a while yet though as i'm still fighting against the crappy weather. It would be nice if I could source replacement mounts and bolts whilst i'm waiting though. :-)

I knew the ruler would draw much admiration. Elsa and Anna are hot - so what's not to like....... ;-)

Pete,

Sorry have had a hectic few days, was on my way to Poland until a few hous ago. Eventually got it posponed until Monday.

Anyhow here is a picture of the PSU in an empty cab. I will remove it fom the cab over the weekend and get some pictures of the brackets.

Yours look like they are in better condition, but you are welcome to them if you think they would be of any use.

Thanks Ian - and no problems on the delay - we all have lives to lead and other things to do away from pinball :-)

I'll be cleaning up the brackets with a dremel and cleaning compound first anyway so the condition isn't so important. Right now i'm missing a bracket so i'll need at least one to be able to refit my transformer back into the cabinet. If you're able to extricate the bolts holding the brackets onto the transformer might be more of an issue though. Mine got badly mangled in the process and that's why i'm missing one.

I didn't realise but the whole thing gets coated in a varnish and that's what often makes its way onto the mounting screws. It can make it an utter pain in the ass to get them seperated.

If you're able to get it stripped and the brackets removed without too much hassle then i'd certainly be interested in at least one bracket and possibly the bolts too. Keep me posted and hopefully we can sorted something out :-)

No worries dude - I know how it is :-)

Just a 'gentle' reminder as i'm slowly getting all my bits in order ready for the various jobs to be done (polishing, sanding, spraying etc. etc.)

Dremel is on standby and i'll hopefully be ordering a tumbler on Monday.

Ok finally got a few minutes there tonight, removed the PSU from the spare cab and dismantled the hardware from the PSU.

Seem to be basically the same size so they are yours if you want them, just PM me your address

Not another Frozen ruler.
Is that the secret past time of the people on here ? Watching Frozen ?

I had to go buy one, for accuracy obviously

No amateur, it's probably the same size as your frozen 10cm as I measured it with my staedler ruler. Needed the same brand of cm

Haha, nice ruler :-)

Although I have to say i've never seen Frozen, at least not all the way through. It's inevitable when you have kids in the house that you'll see parts of it.

Thanks for the offer Ian. I'll drop you a PM.
