Sold Data East Guns 'N' Roses GNR

Data East GNR that came from James @ Coin op king 2-3 years ago.

Plays well, playfield in good condition, not perfect but a good game all round.

I have added a colour DMD, replaced the shooter coil with uprated coil from PBH + new magnet and controller, board and a full PBH led kit.

It has the most outrageous topper that came from the USA, two pistols, two roses and a vinyl LP with side and front lights, see photos.

The cabinet and decals are showing their age, but I have a full set of replacement decals, including side blades to go with the machine. I have never been brave, enough to fit them

I would say it is a player’s machine with potential for those that know how!

From memory I think I gave £6.5k for it but?? I Can’t remember but with the extras I guess I have £7 to £7.5k+ in it including the decal set.

Really not too sure how to price this as not many have been up for sale recently a quick search online and I found these.

Liberty games want £10250.00, James @ Coin op wants £6995.00 (out of stock)

I am looking for £5500 ono but if you think I have mis-priced please tell me therefore sensible offers welcome, but I do mean sensible!

Would prefer buyer to collect so that they check it and be happy with purchase.

Agree the base looks damp and the transformer is very rusty, some playfield mechs have rust too damp garage / storage I guess

£4.25 if you throw in the WD40 and a few scouring pads. I'm joking, this machine was historically my worst nightmare. Enough gameplay though that you forget it's a Data East.

Seems like a fair offer considering all the rusty metal work vs the extras included. That one on eBay went for £4k before the buyer tried to flip it.

Duracells can leak which destroys PCBs. Lithiums are essential.
