Wanted Data East Donor Cabinet

Hi,

Well the decals for my R&B should be here shortly so now attention turns to getting the cabinet back in shape.

It's going to be no small amount of work as one edge needs at least 18mm re-instating due to it being rotted away, and once that is done the plate sitting below the head also needs stripping out. That's all before I even think about putting a new back in place.

So, I have to ask the question.

If anyone does have an old Data East Pinball Cabinet they might be willing to let go then please let me know. If nothing turns up then of course i'll break out the woodworking tools and see what I can do with it; but if one is available and the price is right then it might be a better route for me to take.

Manny had a r&b cabinet for sale a while ago, might still has it

I suspect at that price it was populated at least partially - he's offering to build totally new cabs from Ply for £500 so at £300 i'd find it a bit steep.

Price is key on this one I guess. I don't expect anyone to give it away for nothing but nor do I want to pay over the odds. He's got a Bally Dr Who cab he's trying to shift at the moment for £100, but i'd prefer to stick to the original DE cab if possible for the sake of authenticity.
