Does their quoted delivery charge to UK include VAT and duty or do I risk paying that on arrival does anyone know ? It's showing $119 shipping to UK for a back glass but nil tax . Cheers Andy

Are the items more than £135 in value, if so import duty/tax will be taken care of by whichever company deals with delivering it on this side, plus their fee of course. If its below £135 then they should be collecting the VAT as part of the order.

Yes above £135 but they could still have priced it into the delivery cost and pay it to the courier ? Just wondering if they have .

I do not think VAT is priced in. It’s the luck of the draw on how competent/busy UPS are when shipping. There is a good chance you’ll pay VAT on the backglass plus shipping but I’ve had a couple come through without.

I've taken the plunge anyway . A mirrored back glass for TOM got sold on here just after I bought my nice TOM. I should have bought it then as it's cost me more now so hesitating cost me. Could be a motto on here. I'm sure we all have stories of snoozing and losing !

I didn’t get charged any extra for a pf and plastics and after paying over 200 for shipping I wouldn’t expect to tbh

The VAT on that would have been £200. CPR sometimes just say 'Plywood' on pf shipping and you avoid VAT. This has happened to me before.

When you pay up front like eBay shipping from overseas or Marco it's obvious at the point of payment.

Result. I guarantee you there is no prepayment. My last backglass was also plywood. The non-plywood backglasses stung me for an extra £50.
