Looking to buy some Mirror Backglass from CPR.

Anyone else in the UK looking to order from them? Be good to club together and split shipping costs (proportionally on order value).

Is Phil not doing a CPR order anytime soon, he’s done them in the past using whatever container is due at the time.
 
I did ask Phil to sort a FT backglass quite a while ago (over a year). Now want an IJ, which he couldn’t add so thought I’d sort it myself
 
I don’t think there is an order coming up any time soon as there are no games other than godfather due anytime soon maybe back end of the year

I bought the IJ one and didn’t like it, sold the pin with it still in its box and the new owner also didn’t like it and sold it separate from the pin.
Just didn’t look right, maybe they have improved it as that was a couple of years ago. Thought I would mention it as it was a disappointment for me, the TZ was good and was never sure I liked TAF as looked a bit off but not as bad as IJ.

Yeah!! My taxi one is almost soft focus blurry. Mirroring effect isn’t very good. I needed a Marylin one so would have had no other option other than to wait for an original translite to surface, I’d still be waiting now if that was the case. That was ten years ago so their methods may have improved.

I had a BK mirrored backglass last year from CPR which is really nice, happy with that one.
I would like the Marilyn one for mine as it has the Lola translite fitted, it’s a Marilyn version that I was told originally had a proper backglass fitted. If something comes up I will grab it or maybe just change the hair colour seeing as all these old pinballs are dropping in value😂
Maybe xianek in Poland could do something as his stuff is good and used him before🤔

I bought a Taxi backglass a couple of years ago and can't complain, out of interest does that look any better @Spandangler ?

I’ve also recently bought a CPR Back glass for my TAF and IJ. I’m really pleased with how they look.
The T2 back glass I got last year is a massive improvement on the standard translite as well 👍🏻

Hmmmm cant really tell mate. Don’t get me wrong it’s not horrendous. It’s just side by side an original translite it’s no where near as clear. And the mirroring effect is almost non existent when you compare to a 70/80’s glass. If you have nothing than it’s brilliant.

The one I replaced was not mirrored maybe that was a repro too. They look very similar quality minus the mirroring on the CPR one.
 
I wonder how they do the mirroring with a printer? The original glasses went through a special etching process to get the mirror (ie while back glass starts off as an mirror)

Got a pic of your T2 one Ant? That’s the one I’m thinking of picking up to frame and mount on the wall.

I’m not at home this evening so I’ve only got these photos on hand. It’s hard to see the effect from them but in person the mirroring on the artwork looks great.

Im in need of a space shuttle (wms) backglass but cpr were out of stock last time. If they comd back id def have one of those

Just looked space shuttle glasses back in stock thats me happy 😀😀 can you add a Black knight (original BK) on aswell if you ordering, space shuttle was missing (just a translite) but the bk one on the one i have is a bit flakey, may aswell get while can 👍😊
