Played for the first time tonight and I must say that I really like the game.

Horrible backglass, odd music, crap call-outs and a cabinet with and ape and a bush on it. However there's something very likable about this game and the shots are decent repeatable and fun. The rules seem easy and the video mode is fun. Good game.

I've played 6 or so games tonight and I'm looking forward to getting back on it.

Having played Indiana Jones and TOTAN for the first time last week I must say that I'm thoroughly enjoying these older games. Champion Pub is leaving next week and that's a cracker too.

I'm looking forward to exploring more of these old beauties.

Anyway, I'm off to spank the monkey one last time before bed. šŸ™ˆšŸ™‰šŸ™Š

Never played Congo but looks interesting, IJ just annoyed me in the end with ball trickling down the left side where you canā€™t see it under the POA and the lock shot bounce outs even though I made it better.
Now Robocop, what a gamešŸ˜Ž

Congo is awesome and you get Tim Curry call outs. Dreadful movie of course. Not a super common game unfortunately, always fancied one.

Congo is a great game and very different to the modes based games of that era.

Call outs are in the so bad theyā€™re good category!

As far as Iā€™m concerned Congo is every bit as good as the highly respected games of this era. Theres more than one way of playing it and when you get the ball between the pops and up the volcano itā€™s a great shot.
Truly a hidden gem of a game. EAB574D1-AD81-4763-9A4A-6C932A8AAB63.jpeg

Truly a hidden gem of a game.

Shot between is that good Elwin reversed it for Iron Maiden lol

Top tip. The original novel by Michael Crichton is amazing. Up there with his very best, well worth a read

Where we these Congo fans in the 2000s? Many were broken for the wpc95 board set. Didnt like the under playfield but otherwise a fun game.

We They were going out drinking, chasing women, and listening to live music. Not enough money in their pockets to buy a place of their own, let alone buy a huge coin-op pinball machine.

I thought the same thing.

And that loop on the top left is almost an exact match for the Captain America one on AIQ.

When you reach the skill fire on Congo itā€™s a thing of pure genius, then of course thereā€™s a true midnight madness which gives unlimited balls for a minute at the stroke of 12. Brilliant game.

I had an epic game last night although could not specify which modes were reached.
