Many years ago I made a arcade cabinet out of my desks top computer IMG_4594.webp

Which you can see in the back left corner of games room 1 .The computer was a Fujitsu semens .The speaker switch on off volume is faulty , I have taken a picture of the pot IMG_2049.webp
The pot has B50k stamped on it but I am struggling trying to find a replacement . Does anyone know where I can find a replacement ? Or does anyone have a set of these speakers which I used hiding away somewhere !IMG_2051.webp
Many thanks
Carl

Is it definitely the pot which is the issue, and not deterioration of one of those capacitors on the board? If it's defo the pot, you could try spraying it with contact cleaner before trying to replace, in case it's just grimy?

Unfortunately it is the pot , it was a bit dodgy back then . It still works but by just a slightest touch your get a random volume etc ☹️

If you can't find another pot, could just replace the amp section with something cheap and cheerful like this....

It's just a standard 50k pot ..just nab one off amazon
just ordered this on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/39571704...cjEA5ZnQ-u&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Had to put in 8pin b50k and a few came up 🫣
Thanks for everyone’s help !!

It is a dual pot. Has a B suffix which means it is a LINEAR pot.

The 6 legs are for audio and the two other legs is a power switch. You could of just put in a jumper.

The one you have ordered has the switch at the back, the existing one has the switch on the front.
