Hey guys just got my TZ today and realised that the piano shot bulbs are 555 not 44’s. I don’t suppose anyone knows if anyone in the uk sells the quasar type 555’s? Only need a yellow and a red but don’t really want to order from the us just for that. Will put standards in for now but prefer the look of the coloured quasar ones [emoji106]

I always use www.Pinball-led.co.uk for my LEDs. They don't stock comets but I've never had any issues with their LEDs

Thanks mate yeah I got the set from him it’s just I like the look of the comets for just the bare coloured bulbs that all. Pinball LED’s are great bulbs though. I will just use what I can [emoji106]

Quasar LEDs?? The super bright ones? That would be insanely bright for a visible LED, imo. I’ve used Quasars in GI where they’re completely obscured by plastics, but not as a visible bulb.

Also these bulbs have a habit of moving a bit, and Quasar bulbs are pretty long. Something to consider perhaps.

Yeah, they don’t seem too bad to be honest. I have used them before and have been fine. Nothing compared to some of the flashers and pop rings. Made that mistake before. I think you just can’t beat the look of a coloured incandescent. Will stick to the standard coloured GI. They look fine [emoji106]
