Coloured pinballs yay or nay

What’s your opinions on coloured pinballs in your machines?

I want to get some new ones for mine looking to just get stainless ones really but just had a thought that some coloured ones could be fun, maybe some that glow in the dark,

Always wanted some for tron. Seem to come in awkward amounts so never bothered.

How does the coating/colouring hold up, seems like they would look good for a game or two but quickly chip and look a bit rubbish.

I had gold balls on my tom, weeks later I had silver balls and gold flakes all over the shop.

I have only ever had the glow balls in a Viper Night Drivin` which sort of half worked but not as good as you were led to believe. Still it was a nice idea but didn`t quite come off. I don`t think i`d try coloured ones in general though maybe on some occasions it might look nice but as mentioned above who`d want gold flaky bits everywhere !

Had standard ones from pinbal mania and premium ones from binball bazaar, both sets were great.

Don't put 2nd rate balls in your pinball machine like a slow motion angle grinder. But ooh it looks so cool.
