Like the title says - looking for some coin mechs for roadshow. Ideally £1 and 50p (Unless you can get a £2 one ?)
They look to be mechanical (which seems odd since its newer than my Addams which has an electronic mech)
Currently there are 2 slots, both look to be lire :(

Im assuming replacing the 2 mechanical mechs is the simplest option. No idea what would be needed to make is use an electronic one - open to suggestions tho

If they are mechanical then it probably isn't a UK coin door and interface board. It's not an issue as you can buy mechanical mechs and fit them but if you change the coin door to a UK one then you will likely need to either change the interface board or add the pins to the unpopulated part of the board.

change mechs . UK S10 mechs in all UK coins are available

I find these far less problematic than electronic mechs

HOWEVER the insert slot and run down might be too small for our coins. You might be OK with a £1 coin if you get a new insert plate

I MIGHT have a current £1 mech in my stash. Have spare 50p ones

programming in easy.

Grand. If you have that'd be great. I can worry about the hole in the slot (wanders off to thingiverse to see if there's and stl for that 😊).

Italy must've held on to mechanical coin acceptors for a good while, then. A Dutch-allocation Indy PBA that I converted had a DBV (Dollar Bill Validator) door like that. The coin entry casting, slot entries, etc, are all the same type as the door fitted to u.k. machines in the later System 11 era, Banzai, Swords of Fury, etc, to Rollergames.

With regard to setting suitable pricing, 'Custom Door' is only concerned with the running earnings total, i.e. what amount each coin input adds to the total - it isn't the pricing itself. That's altered by selecting 'Custom Pricing', if none of the existing programmed pricing schemes suit.
