Chrome siderails and lockdown Bar.

Does anyone know where I can get, apart from the USA, a Chromed lockdown Bar and Siderails for a late Bally/ Williams WPC Game? I have tried the usual suspects and even the Pinballcentre in Germany is out of stock and do not know when they will get more. I would even be happy with just the siderails as I can machine polish the lockdown bar. Any advice appreciated.

I might be wrong now but when I was restoring machines a few years ago I couldn't find any chrome siderails and lockdown bars here in the UK that were even close to the quality of the US ones.

Strict H&S requirements in chrome plating due to carcinogens and toxic waste.
Some companies shy away due to the regs. My local plater and powder coater won’t get involved unfortunately......
Think pinballcentre do them but may have a lead time. Best contact them.....

I don’t think any lockbar and side rails are actually chrome they are all polished

I’ve got 4 pins that have had new chrome side rails when the cabs were done and magnets don’t stick to them so can’t be steel, are all the new side rails like that?
Im going to be doing my IJ cab soon and a side rail has a ding but would like the steel ones not chromed. Are these available?

Side rails on Williams are stainless steel so not magnetic it’s also a very expensive procedure to chrome stainless steel

I have 6 originals that the magnets stick to and 4 redone that don’t, annoys me because I have one of those magnetic things that I put bits and pieces in.

Thank you. I have tried all the European ones as well. I just really resent paying the huge shipping cost (£185) to get stuff like that frok the USA. I might get my existing onea chromed.

I have tried Pinball centre but they are out of stock and do not know when they will get more. I have had them from there before and the quiality is good for the price (£60)
