Anybody got one that they would be willing to part with? Seems that all the reproductions that were around a few years ago are out of stock.

Thanks for the heads up. Really looking for a hologram though. Everything else works, the light, both motors etc but it just lights up a soupy black lagoon. I saw the mini screen in a creech a few years ago at Pinfest and it just isn't me - I'm too oldschool - I don't even do LEDs as they give me a headache!
To be honest I posted it as it contains links to all of the hologram options out there. Pretty sure the repros are still available.

Has PinballSP actually delivered any of his CFTBL mods to the UK? You have to watch his products as he keeps changing things on the PCB designs.

Plus the video footage I have seen to be honest it looks pretty awful in my opinion.

Everyone is after a 'good' non worn hologram, but they are few and far between as CFTBL no longer gets broken for spares. It has not for years. I once broke one down (in about 2005) and the reason was the hologram was missing.

@Asiapinball - please, if you find a good replacement post a link up. I agree with you the hologram looks the best!

For the record, current "options" are:

Currently can't order at Pinball Dreams 349 Euros. Looks out of stock, but "taking enquiries".
Pinball Centre has no stock but will inform when next available 149 euros.
There is an LED edge lit engraved acrylic retrofit on ETSY for £28 for the acrylic only or £68 including LEDs and wiring to the existing lamp. But will not send outside US (although I have friends there who I can send to for forwarding).
Mike D not been making for years but rare and $1,000+ seems to be going rate for NOS..
And then there is the new video strongs-uk linked to not yet available?

Yes the last option you are talking about might be compys re-release of the Mike D mod. Not sure if its out yet.

I have Henrik at pinball dreams email if you'd like me to ask if he has any stock? I have one of his and its brilliant. Not cheap though.

Sure. Last I talked to him was 2018 and he had just sold his last one, he needs 50 people interested to do a run I think. Would be worth posting on the creech thread on pinside too if you haven't already for those people replacing their holo with the lcd mod, they might be able to sell you their old one.

These came back into stock at Pinball Centre so I bought one of those at 134 Euros (excluding Germany VAT) plus 35 Euros for shipping, so it worked out at £145 shipped. it's been delivered so no idea whether there are any additional costs to pay; presumably not. The hologram looks great and although it warns of "spotting" on the hologram due to the print process, I couldn't see any spots. Still to install and double sided scotch tape seems to be the usual route. Its slightly oversized so needs to be cut down a little. Debating whether to install over the existing old hologram which is very well attached to the framework. Any pointers from anybody that has installed one of these?

Mine just arrived from Germany. Had to pay the VAT as well when delivered. Looks like this:

So, did you install over top of existing hologram or remove the old one? Double sided tape or otherwise?

Pics to follow once installed, but looks like my U14 on the CPU has blown, so that to fix too before any pics.

I’ve just put it on top of the old one without sticking it. It stays in place being between the metal bars that are holding the hologram support. I just wanted to see how it looks like. The entire hologram has a sticky back that you can use so no need for double sticky tape.

So it does! I'm going for straight on top of the old hologram and no trimming either

@Hiltoncriss that certainly looks a lot better than the original promo pictures had me believe. Nice one [emoji106]

I’m pretty please as well with it considering that it’s from Pinball Center. Unfortunately the mountains for my White Water are a disaster. Completely different shape and colour. Well, at least the hologram is nice…
