Any updates on how yours is working out? I'd be interested in the 3ds printed holder but also on instructions on how to update to GU5.3. haven't found instructions on how to do this.Common way is to upgrade to mr16 gu5.3 led 12v. If you put a 7w led bulb in that is 50w equivalent compared to 29w for the original. I got a friend to 3d print a lamp holder to which i added wiring so it is plug and play. I can ask him how much to print one for you if you want to go that route. Haven't got around to fitting mine yet but probably will this week so can report back once fitted. I wouldn't just put a higher rated bulb in there as it may overload circuit.
Can I just use something like this?Id like to fit a brighter bulb - just so I don't do anything I shouldn't - What is the max Wattage I can upgrade too? At present it is the original and I feel I could be a bit brighter ?
Is that just a bayonet led you use in there? My original filament bulb blew so rightly or wrongly I just cleaned the reflector and used a spare 12v led flasher I had in the spares box. Works well and is quite bright.
I got a couple printed and ready but not yet had chance to get them in the machine to test.Any updates on how yours is working out? I'd be interested in the 3ds printed holder but also on instructions on how to update to GU5.3. haven't found instructions on how to do this.
