Hi all. I am trying to repair a Captain Fantastic for an old friend. She apparently had a so-called "repairman" look at it a few years ago and it has not worked ever since! Why are some people trusted with tools?
Anyway I am waiting on the schematic I have orderd but, when I saw it It was completely dead, with many cut and broken wire all over the place and with the fuses having various bits of wire wrapped around them. the 50 Volt (15Amp) had wire I would rate at least 30amps+.I told her it was a big job and brought it home with me.

Assembled it and replaced the fuses and badly burnt and damaged fuseholders. Got the game to light up but that was all. Finally realised all the coin Microswitches had broken wires and I know this is the bally way they loop power to the Start and coin relays. Now at least the game starts but there are many relays permanently on A good example is the 10 point relay Looking at similar Bally Scematic, It is only energised by around 6 switches on the PF and they are all open. Eventually found the issue. This fkin Repairman had removed the ilittle fibre insulation tubes that held the screw in on the slingshot switches. Grr. Anyway ,on to the next issue. and the real reson for this post.

Under the Playfield directly next to the lower right flipper is a multi-switched relay It is permanenty on and I have no idea what it does? Until I get a schemtic, I cant even work it out by a proccess of elimination. Can any of you lovely people please advise what it is
Thank you in advance RIch.
