My beloved BSD is up for sale. Priced at £4000 for hagglers, or £3500 for non-hagglers.

I've owned this for 6 years and it's a very reluctant sale. The only thing wrong with it is the VO for "Master you promised me eternal life" keeps randomly triggering. This seems to have happened last time I moved the machine but I can't figure out what's causing it. Could be the opto, or could be the opto board. It's priced with that in mind.

It's had NVRAM fitted by New Forest Pinball. Flippers had a full rebuild a couple of years ago. It has a few mods including the shooter lane crucifix light mod, graveyard lighting mod, under cabinet lighting. It has lovely new chrome legs like all my machines. Always kept in a humidity controlled environment.

Also has mirror blades and sterling sliver BSD crucifix keyfob. Original lightning flippers also included as spares.

Decals have been touched up on the red parts with acrylic. I guess you could say 'professionally' since I'm an artist. Visually you'd be very hard pressed to tell they're not new decals, and hopefully should be more fade resistant than new decals too.

I'll take some more pics tomorrow of the playfield without glass on.

Update: having sold a machine and having had a complete re-organise of the games room and now able to get a sofa in there I'm now rethinking selling my machines. The arcade cabinets MK2 and KI2 are I guess still available at the prices I mentioned in the other post but BSD is a keeper. Also, weirdly, having moved it into a different spot the "Master you promised me eternal life" has stopped triggering randomly. must be a sign?

good man, great decision. i bitterly regret selling the final half dozen of my 'keepers' that i'd tweaked with love and nerdiness and fixed all the problems with and made perfect (i needed the money so no point regretting) and am now trying to get them back, all at 50% increased prices, and they won't be as nice as the ones i let go. oh well, change is healthy i suppose.

BSD is indeed a keeper machine, hang on as long as you can, dude
- this is the one with the Matt Vince callout

FYI, my BSD had the same random popper issue, turned out to be a bad diode on a different switch on the same switch row. Took me ages to find the prob
