Bought a new Tron from Phil at Pinball Heaven and had it delivered today to a local pub. It was great unboxing a brand new machine, and I got to have the first game.

Not sure if it will take any money but not really bothered as it's nice just to see a pin in a pub for a change.

If anyone's in the area and fancies a game, it's in the Ship & Anchor pub, 188 High Street, Maldon CM9 5BX.

I'm popping up there tonight to see if anyones on it!

Its so bloody fast i cant see what the hell im supposed to be doing...haha. Somehow i cant get quorra mutliball to start either? I do what it says on the info card (shoot quorra to advance, then shoot video game to start) but sod all happens when i do it. I know the rom revision is 1.5 on my machine so i'm sure it does have the feature, but as its early days i'm sure i will figure it out....unless someone here could shed any light?



Anyway, kudos for banging a brand new one straight into a pub. We sure do need more of them about. Now, time to dig out that EL wire.....



P.S: I found a great way to wind up the missus: Just make 'Tronneriffic, Trontabulous or Trontastic your reply to everything she says.....hahaha!

I've posted in a separate thread, but Rus, are you aware you have to make the Quorra shot a minimum of 4 times before Quorra multiball will light? And that's the first time. Subsequent times increase the number required up until you've been through the portal. At which point I would imagine it would go back to 4 but I can only speculate on that as I've not made the portal yet

The DMD is your friend. It always tells you how many are left. If you can take your eyes off the ball long enough to look at the DMD! You wait until you wax the playfield. Then it's insane!!

Eh? I know Russ and I know what pins he owns, whats wrong with asking if he's got rid of any other pins?
 
I remember that pub from growing up and going to school in Maldon. I might take a walk down memory lane and accidentally end up in a pub with a pinball machine in it.

I had that walk down memory lane yesterday, showing the girlfriend where I grew up with a little walk. My mum came along too as she still lives locally.

We popped in and I played a game, I wasn't very good and we only had 1 £1 coin but it gave me a chance to see how nice a machine it was. Mum was impressed too so we worked on getting my dad to buy one later.

Good to see a machine in a pub, had it not been a rare sunny day, we would have stayed for some drinks and I would have got more change and played a lot longer.
