What sort of price are these going for? not ebay inflated prices? theres one down the road from me the bloke might be ringing me

Hi Rudedogg snoop D O double gizzle!!!

well I got mine off Keith as part of the 64 machine collection sale. I paid £650. The cabinet is faded and a bit scraped but all the playfield plastics, ramps and the pf itself was good due to being mylared. It was very dirty though.

there were no errors or faults either

As always there are many variables which affect price. BoP playfields are notorious for awful wear.

If the playfields trashed but otherwise working I would expect to pay around £400 tops.

I know Dreads was fortunate enough to grab a HUO BoP Last year, in fantastic condition and obviously paid a lot more for the privilege. Probably a once in a life time opportunity!

as a guide I'd say £700 ish.

If its mint then 1k isn't out of the question. When you're talking that kind of money for a BoP, you would expect it to be VERY tidy and fully working

Yeah but the trouble is, unless you've seen at least ten of em, how are you gonna recognise an example that stands out?

a beaut rather than has just been polished and well lit (with the smell of baking bread in the background and a sexy young thing walking past and smiling a lot)

Indeed Dan. I guess sometimes you get lucky. Sometimes you don't! When its your first pin its always tricky. Like anything in life, you learn from experience.

My first pin was a BoP. I knew nothing about pinball or the yahoo group. All I knew was that I had a 30" gap in my kitchen between the fridge and the wall and i wanted to fill it with a random item. I bought it off eBay and the pf was more bare wood than paint. It was trashed. Naturally I over paid and got laughed out the door when I tried to sell it on group for what I paid for it.
3 years and 15 pins later I'm a little more knowledgable.

So Rudy, I guess you've just gotta go look at it and have a max price in mind. By the looks of his other machines he doesn't look after them that well. But don't be afraid of a little dirt, that'll clean off.

Look at my shop log pics. That machine was £650.
