With the interest of keeping this forum for its intended spirit, I presume fun, I'll ad a competitive price in line with the internet search results for the same game. However, I do believe them to be rediculous, but who am I to decide on the market. Was £225,000 now (see reasons below) 2048485.50 Indian Rupees (Dogecoin or GBP equivelant accepted). As before, open to offers.
Please will people refrain from direct messages as it could be presumed that I am illiciting a blind auction and we know how pinballs sell on here don't we, all goes onto the original for sale thread and we are a kind and open cummunity each sharing our bids for our intended purchase.

The thing is, upon unboxing, I have decided this game is garbage, it is ugly to look at, there was a loose 6mm nut rattling around inside the box as soon as I opened it and tbh, it smelled like a cardboard box the instant I opened the box.
There were a few pops n crackles as I plugged it into the wall socket and to my dismay, (This Happened), and I wish I had not bothered simply wiring a UK plug onto it. I am sure I could have purchased a hack on the dark web.

Burnout.webp

If only I had not held such confidence in Stern when I questioned how I should convert to UK power supply, this would never have happened. I should have known the forum members already knew it all, Oh you guys crack me up. Jeez what do the yanks know anyway, they think they rule the world the cocky ********. Serves me right!

I'll be honest folks, I don't think I can live with it in the house. And so, I have just put it back into the box and righ before closing her up again, I cupped a good old rasping trump into my hand and dropped it righ in there to improve things for the next owner at least in the smell department, I think I retained a good 90% too:)

@Sgt GrizZ , it was a fair request sir, I am sorry you got abused for the lovely interest you showed in my machine before I did what I did to it, but fortunately, I did get that rear end shot for you right before the fire!
If you are still interested and require any more piccies, I'll unbox her once again and take any pictures you like. Better be quick mind, her indoors is back soon and she hates the smell of my trumps and believe me, the box is slowly weeping some nasty smells already, I hope the batteries haven't caused the fishy melting wire smell, on the other hand, if the batteries are not to blame, I better call the doctor, oh my days..

I'll be honest, I was a little drunken when I purchased her, and being a bit of a Bond fan I thought I'd love this game, you know, what with Keith Elwin being involved in the design, you've heard of him right, the greatest player of all time, yes, so what he can play well, what's he known for anyway, some pretty average top ten games of all time imo, pinside is not to be trusted, most of his top 10 entries are rubbish.
I should have known he was due a flop.
In fact it is proven, don't be fooled by the Pinside entry of #19 for Bonds unlimited varieties of 007, oh no, this hunk of junk is rated #77, can you believe it, KE decided to drop a poop on his own fan base by creating a slightly confusing version for the 60th LE, some of you might say it is a little misundersdood, but I'll promise you, I almost puked when I looked at the design the first time, in fact I used a nose clip just to be able to click my mouse as I bought it.

Uh Oh, wifeys back and her face looks like thunder, she walked straight past the pinball and yakked, luckily I hooked the dog lead up to it and rolled him in some fox poo right before I did, I'm trying to look flustered like I've just got in from a tough dog walk, pretty sure she'll not catch on that I've been lugging Elwins crap about. Is Elwin on here btw, I need to PM him about this thing, it is truly offensive that he did this to us.
But I know what he'll say, give it some time, it is a very much misunderstood game and that this one is a creeper, all of a sudden in 5 yrs time, mark my word, this thing will make TAF look unpopuler due to its classic design and its funometer powow! I dunno Elwin, I've lost faith.

And remember folks no DM's....... Never happens, all the best:)

I'd just like to add, I will be getting an old refurbished CPU from our local Saturday market outside Tesco where Bilal does some nifty electronics and so it will be in fully working and reliable condition for the new owner. Do not believe any rumours that I am in communication with Stern directly, what do you think I am if not a Yorkshire man!

(NB: edited to remove the silly bits)

I'm surprised stern advised you to just change the plug, it's definitely common knowledge among the distributors and the approved resellers that the power is deliberately done to prevent what stern see as grey imports.

It's been on here many times, there are ways around it with @myPinballs converter, but stern might also now have locked them with code on the CPU chip, which appears to be the case based on others input.

I don't personally agree with stern practice on this, but it is what it is many companies have done and do do it. Disney, Nintendo spring to mind.

Hopefully you know someone who connected with stern to sort it out to work in the UK, people have done it, but those have bought alot of stern products and basically have shares in the factory.

As with anything there always a way, however it's probably not for most.

I know electro coin still have them or did have them in stock, so it's rare factor is limited.

I agree it's pretty crap, played it for several hours in London arcade in the west end Funland . If it was £5k maybe, it similar to 70s 80s with some bells. Not my thing at all and your right it's Photoshop ugly.

Still one man's pinball pleasure is another pain, although with this one if the word LE was removed and it's wasn't very limited run and priced at £12k like the other stern pros people would probably universally agree it's crap

Bang on sir!

Basically my translation bought something stupid drunk, broke it by mistake, now stuck with it and hopefully someone will take it off my hands so my loss isn't quite as bad. Bit like going out out and looking at your bank account the next day feeling the 🔔 of shame 😉

Love it 🤣
Next time I come yours Marcel I’m having a pint of what your having sir … that’s strong ****
Sober as a judge Paul, how's the MB playing?

I’ve only played a Bond 60th in the comp at Pinfest and the inline drops were set up to be certain death- this no doubt has tainted my impression of the game- I thought it was okay generally; but not worthy of the price tag and was pretty fugly to boot. I think you’re better putting this on some sort of Bond forum if such a thing exists- must be a super fan somewhere willing to stand this front and centre as a statement piece?

I just don’t understand why you wouldn’t just start at what you want for it, then bump it lower until it sells. Every game has a biting point, you just need to be sensible… to find it.

I’m confused by this advert, is it just strange humour I don’t understand 😀

How can a US Stern burnout when they have auto switching PSU’s in them, the only thing that should happen is they will display a message saying incorrect country of operation, I have a few US models 🤔

I think it's just a light hearted advert. I could be missing something??? but the game is still wrapped up in the pics and that transformer looks to be from an old EM.

😀 Yeah I did look at that transformer photo and think that’s had a few years on it.

Watching with interest 😊
