Best games £3k and under

Following on from long code games, another people’s best games suggestions thread - this time, what games do you think offer the best bang for buck at £3k and under?

From what I’ve played I feel like Baywatch is right up there and I’d love to join BAPS one day.

I’d say there are dozens of SS games that are under 3k and are good to play. I’m really enjoying the simplicity of night rider, an early Bally game that was a crossover with both EM and SS version produced. There isn’t a great lot to do, but it’s challenging to top 100k score, even on 5 ball game.

The Shadow, classic B/W feel, great ball lock and upper playfield, multiple ways to play for points modes/ramps/combos and should be change left from 3k for a new translate

The Getaway for me personally is one of the best under 3k. Lots of good Williams movie tie-ins for under 3k too - Demolition Man etc.

I bought and sold my Batman Forever for under 3k. I'm not saying it's the best game available for under that price, but I enjoyed owning it and it felt pretty packed for the money.

As someone who is looking to get his first home pinball machine is Demolition Man the best available machine for 3k? I dont really like the look fo Centaur theme wise. I know Congo is a good pin but havent seen any available and not sure on the price of that.

“Best” is subjective, I really like Demo Man but there may be other pins you personally like more. I also think Road Show is a lot of pin for £3k if you can find one.

You’re very unlikely to find a Congo for £3k

How long a piece of string do you have?

If I think it is the best machine for under 3k then that does not mean that you will enjoy playing on it.

The £2000 - £3000 price bracket is full of superb games,

I really like Flintstones which tend to be around the 3k mark now, but I'm aware there's a lot of people who don't. Best thing you can do is play as many machines as possible to get a feel for what you enjoy.

Should be inside the 3k bracket, unless its an absolute minter I would have thought.

Some nice B/W B list games can be had for 2-3K.
You can get a FishTales or Creature in OK condition for around that price

Definitely. For many years there it was one of the cheaper DMDs - loads around , and a hell of a lot of bang for your buck.

Rollergames, should also leave you enough spare out of the 3K to get a classic as well.

Not with a decent Hologram, no, but alternatives are available.
Players condition/OK is around £2800-3k

You don’t really see too many CFBL with original green holograms these days.

So many bangers at this price point hard to pick there's some great sys11 games, (space station,swords of fury) data easts (tftc, robocop) and ss along with what's been mentioned already
