Ben Heck is doing another pinball project - a half-size pinball machine.
If you are interested in pinball electronics, he builds the controller hardware in this first part:
The second part in a couple of weeks may be more interesting, presumably covering playfield, cabinet etc. design and construction.
I thought about doing this myself a long time ago. Going half-scale means much less powerful mechanisims, electronics and parts strength needed. It does, however, mean you can't reuse much in the way of existing pinball parts.
