An upcoming house move requires me to sadly sell this Beat the Clock pinball table. You can read about this mid 80s model here https://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=4518.
I think this is not an especially common machine. It was made in Germany under a Bally Midway licence somehwere between 1985 and 1987. I have a PDF of the manual (I can email if a potential buyer wants to browse). The game is unusual in the fact that you are not assigned a set number of balls and earn more balls by your endeavours. Instead you are start with a certain amount of time and this counts down although you can earn extra time by hitting the correct items. The longer you keep going the more points you will score.
I have had it 10 years having initially bought it to have at a themed party, it was recently revamped by Helmut at the pinball factor (https://thepinballfactor.co.uk/)- you may be able to ask him about it. This refurb included the main board being sent of for a full refurb- which cost over £300. The game plays just fine although one of the 3 central bumpers does not kick (but it does score- it should be an easy fix). The drop targets have been replaced with those from an other machine at some time but work fine. Helmut tells me the playfield is in very good conditon for a machine of this age. I do not know if the coin shoots work as it has always been on free play. By refering to the manual you can control numerous settings including difficulty levels and time allowed and countdown speed but setting registers with the internal keypad. I have a box full of spare bits and bobs such as rubber bulbs and balls. Ideally someone would come and view, see it play etc before buying and taking away- the lags come off and the upright will tip over and lie above the playfield.
I would like £800. We probably move in 4 weeks. If I haven't got sensible money for it by then it may go to storage - but there it won't be possible to see it working.
My name is Andy. We are in the Redland area of Bristol. The machine can be easily moved out of the house to a waiting vehicle.
