Hi all,

So I was going to build myself an AFM but before I put in the huge amount of time and money to get everything else I need., I thought I would see if anyone is selling a Bally/Williams Attack From Mars machine

Any condition considered (don't even mind if the back has scratches 😂)

No ridiculous Wes prices 🤣

Thanks

Luke

Good luck with the search!
Was surprised to see only 3450 were produced back in 1995..

They are out there!

I built one from a CGC empty cab, CGC playfield populated. Bought a NGG for £2.2K and used all the parts off that. The lightboars I got from Australia.
Took me loads of fiddling to get the strobe working, bought the Homepin board and it never worked. They blamed it on 'dirty data'.

You can do it but it is not cheap and I doubt you will get everything you need.

Mine took a hell of a lot of hours. Did it as 'proof' I could do it.

Quite a few knocking around, but it is if people wanna let them go.

I do think the originals play better than the remakes. Too much clear coat on the remakes, makes the balls skid.

Have two customers that have originals and have talked about selling on - will let you know but one is on holiday until next week.

I put all the part numbers in a spreadsheet so I've got a rough idea. Most parts are actually available these days (they were not when I started) so fairly sure it is doable.
I've got an NBA Fastbreak an AFM playfield + wireforms, ramps and some other bits and mechs. I thought it was time I either finish collecting the parts, or just buy one ready made, before it turns into the worlds longest project (Just looking back I bought the playfield in 2012 and the wireforms I got made at great expense in 2013) 🤣

I look forward to hearing if your customers want to sell.

Thanks

Luke
