Hi all,
It’s been a while since we at New Forest Pinball did a shop log. Mainly due to clearing a huge backlog and semi-retirement.🙂

This shop will have a little twist as it will be a “team effort “ between me. Jack @NewForestPinballJr , Brian @BrianSoton and Rosie. The goal is for a “mint” restoration. Inc. cabinet, cab art, new playfield, 7 digit conversion, leds etc…. Here’s how it arrived a few “months ago” from our good friend John @bluejonny . The next post will show some more detailed as is, pictures and hopefully aim for an April/May start! Watch this space!!!!
Any questions/suggestions always welcome, as i have recently acquired a bullet proof vest and a steel handbag 👜…. All my best wishes. Keef….🤗IMG_9736.webpIMG_9737.webpIMG_9738.webpIMG_9739.webpIMG_9740.webpIMG_9741.webp

Good evening all,
So the strikes and spares is now officially underway. Here’s a few pictures of how it is currently, and a bit of insight into what we plan to do with it……
First let’s take a look at the cabinet, where the machine had been re-themed in the past there was a few interesting cabinet additions!!!!!….
1) After being sprayed in satin black, vinyl had been applied to all surfaces , here’s a close up of the cabinet after the vinyl and the side rails have been removed. (The latter will be flattened and polished).

2) The undercarriage has a lot of missing wood on the base and is very crusty n rusty with a lot of stickers. These will all be removed and the metal plate restored….

3) The top of the back box has a very neat round hole drilled into it(?)…… who knows why????….. this will of course be filled and painted.

4) The coin door is naked, but in surprisingly straight order. So this will be stripped cleaned and polished with some nice coin inserts…….

5) The rear of the cabinet has had some “monster rails “ added. These will be removed, holes filled and furniture feet refitted..

6) Hinges have also been added. These will be removed, also…..

7) some of your more eagle eyed viewers may of noticed that the area on the cabinet where the back box sits has had a rim added of about 1” maybe for the more taller player to see his scores more easily…… this will be removed and put back to standard height……

8) and finally the back of the back box. Eeeekkkk ! Not great… we will be using Jeff’s stencils from pinball pimp to refurb the cabinet and back box……
