after one or two of these please, the things that attach to the underside of the playfield.

Can be linear (fathom, vector, fireball 2, elektra .....) or preferably the earlier type (paragon, globetrotters etc). they are virtually identical

Handy tip with these:

If you have duff threads on the base plate swap them over (L->R and R->L) as they are drilled (but not tapped) for both sides. The original Bally bolts will cut the threads the first time you use these holes so you end up with a plate that is like new.

yep did this myself on my space invaders,because some idiot had used chipboard screws to try to secure the coil stop and stripped the threads so the correct originals could not be used,needless to say it was loose as hell,before I turned the plate around and fixed it
 
A dilemma on 3 flipper games though ... luckily I have mr and Mrs Pacman and EBD where the upper flipper is on opposite sides!
