Hi All,

By any chance does someone have a spare set of original Bally KISS ROMs (U2 + U6) they are willing to part with?

it is easy enough to burn new eproms,or do you want the original mask roms?

I was looking for the original ROMs.

My KISS came with the MPU missing. I've acquired a replacement Bally MPU, but not from a KISS.

I'd prefer the originals, but can go down the burning route if required - but then I'd have to play with jumpers on the board which I'd like to avoid if I can.

Why not buy one of the 64 (or 128) adapters from this site which is not expensive and you can select any game by adjusting dip switches?

I didn't know about this. I'd still like to go with the original roms, but if they don't work out I'll give the adapter a go.

With adaptor you don’t need to change any rom straps either. These are absolutely amazing and mean you can use the cpu in any Bally SS game, if you buy the 128 version it also covers Stern SS games

Original masked roms they will die soon or later, those ROMs, as they get old, break very easily (they oxidise). But I have the roms images, so I can burn new eproms to you. If you are 100% sure that the board is jumpered for the original masked roms, so I can burn the roms in 2532 eprom, as 9332 masked ROMs can be changed to 2532 eprom with no jumper modifications. OR, I can burn the image in 2732eproms if the board is jumpered in that way. Let me know.

Thanks for the offer, but I have some original roms on the way that I will try as the first step.

I have the kit to burn the roms if needed.

@Paul can burn eproms. I would not say there is any difference except for a crappy old sticker on the top of them.
