Here we have another one of our trade ins from back in 2023. Bally Judge Dredd.

As far as we can tell it's missing the following:

Transformer
Coin door
Translite
Legs

Can't see anything else but have a good look at the photos, can get any other photos you might want, just let me know.

It's got a solid box.

We possibly have a spare brand new Eagle too around £200ish once it's up and running.

Again, hope someone can bring this one back to life. Always loved the artwork on this pinball.

£1795 but as always happy for feedback on the price.

(Item in Castleford, West Yorkshire but delivery can obviously be arrange if you need)

Thanks!

Edit: we've found a lock down bar for it so now includes.

Edit: Some others have commented that they've found some other bits missing based on the photos, so please have a good read through the whole thread if you're in any doubts.

Transformer could be a tricky one, also gonna need some bulb holders

I've got a pin2k transformer spare, but i dont think that has everything needed on wpc

@David retro can also order them in.

Always worth checking the DCS soundboard gets 12VAC and not the 18VAC from the earlier Transformer. The homepin one can be switched.

Having just had fun working out the differences of transformers, this page helped.

In short, a pin 2000 should work but the line voltage connector will be reversed.

pin2k one wont work as its missing a few of the ac voltages needed . namely the one for creating 5v, the dcs analogue audio and the dmd power.

Possibly though it could be made to work if you have a colour dmd (no hv needed there), and use one of the 18v lamp feeds for the dcs audio, and possibly a separate small transformer for the 5v gen. Certainly would be cheaper than a new one, but not straight forward

Or, use one of my mod power boards to solve the 5v gen problem.

Lamp holders not a big issue. New ones £1 to £1.75 each plus postage depending on where you shop and there are only 18 on the game. I have a load of used but decent ones so can do a bag of 20 for £15 posted if buyer wants to minimise costs. Transformer is a more expensive issue, of course.

Wishing I had kept the hurricane transformer I sold for 40 quid 🤢
It don't think it would work. Hurricane transformer has 18V for the sound, JD needs 12v so only IJ, JD, Pinball_Circus, Popeye and STTNG transformers will do.

Unless it can be adapted easily, of course, and then I might be more interested as I happen to have a Hurricane transformer in my parts stash!

Ah not so bad then lol, might be easy enough to drop the 18v winding to 12v?

WPC94 and WPC95 should work based on everything I have seen. Add these to the donor list. AFM, CC, CP, CV, Congo, I500, JB, JM, JY, MB, MM, NBA, NF, NGG, SC, SS, ToM, TotAN, WD
I recently paid £250 for a secondhand WPC94 transformers, and new ones are £350 on back order, so add that to the project cost.

The translite is the only thing I don't have lying about to get this up and running to then see what else is needed.

Hi, I'm new to this sort of thing. If a transformer were found and fitted would that only then enable someone to then determine what else might be wrong with circuit boards and chips etc? Or can it be assumed all that will be working fine because of no acid damage from leaking batteries? Thanks

No , it's a project, like a car with no engine. It may work, but generally you wouldn't take a transformer out of a perfect machine to use to repair another machine, there's a reason it was a donor machine.

No assumptions can be made on a project like this.

R Slingshot coil & bracket missing, L slingshot looks disassembled . R flipper rubber missing, L slingshot plastic broken. Not just translite, but glass and trim missing too. Some backbox cables and wire looms missing. Generally there’s a lot of white rust on the hardware. The big unknowns are CPU, driver board and DMD.

Crane cover missing too.
Topper is not just the plastic missing there is also a bracket and some screws.

Just replacing all the missing parts already identified will cost the best part of £1,000 by the time shipping and vat has been paid. And even small parts that may have been raided from the machine can add up quickly. When doing a playfield stripdown, I always reckon on £150 to £200 to do flipper rebuilds new coil sleeves new rubber and replacing the broken and damaged small parts like star posts. And then there is the big unknown of the whether the boards are working.

Not for the fainthearted.

Pair of Eagles newly flown in from the States. We need one but the other is available for £200. We have painted in gold glitter and will also add a clear coat. In my opinion they look better than the original.
