Wanted Bally Eight Ball Deluxe Playfield or Overlay

Great, sounds like they're highly recommended then! Would there be any sense in a group buy? Shipping is about $90

Make sure you watch the video's on the site. I had to dremel a lot of the holes on mine and had to colour some of the wood around a couple of the inserts with a black marker.
Fitting the hardtop was actually the easiest part of the process.

@Mooseman started a group buy as he wanted a Gorgar. Finished up with 4 of us getting them. Good saving on the shipping.

Thanks very much - I've has a look at the videos now and this looks like the way to go for me. I'm not in a huge hurry so if anyone wants to do a group buy we can see if that would save us much on postage. Obviously it would divide the postage from the US, but then we'd have to post within the UK which might not be cheap given the dimensions of the box.

Fitting a hardtop is really easy - very hard to do it wrong if you line it up and clamp one end in position while you stick down the other end. They are pretty rigid so it's not like you can get creases or bubbles under them. I've done four without issue. Except with my Eight Ball Deluxe I forgot to remove the star rollover insert before installing the hardtop. It can be done after installation but it is far far easier to do it before, as per the instructions.
